2022 PERFORMERS

We are thrilled to announce the program for the POPS 18th concert includes:

The Bangor Symphony Orchestra led by Grammy winning Music Director and Conductor, Lucas Richman returns to treat concert goers to a powerful, enriching and musical experiences.

Celebrating Maine-based music Erica Brown and the Bluegrass Connection  with be headlining the Kingfield POPS return with her stellar fiddling music and exceptional band incorporating music from the traditional bluegrass repertoire, French Canadian fiddle music as well as original songs.

Portland based Stream Reggae offers great music from the heart and soul of the Caribbean filling the air with joy, laughter and good energy that never fades away.

Louisa Stancioff, originally from Chesterville ME, plays indie folk music and intricate melodies, who with band mates, Dave and Dane Kelly adding an occasional guitar solo, drums and whatever instrument comes their way.

Local musician Coleman Martin will bring an upbeat mix of songs and guitar, combined with powerful  vocals, that will have you singing along.

POPS guests are welcomed to the concert by the Stratton School All-Star Steel Band – our local steel drum youth ensemble that spreads the joy of live steel drum music as you move through the field to the gate.

We hope that you, your friends and family will once again be part of this premier event of the Western Mountains! Enjoying the fabulous mountain views, listening and dancing under the stars to music and finishing the night watching the spectacular fireworks finale.

About Stream Reggae

Stream Reggae is Maine’s premier reggae band offering 100% authentic reggae music from the heart and soul of the Caribbean.  Listen to the band perform their energetic reggae/dancehall music local nightclubs and festivals, cruises and colleges in Maine and all over the US. The band has opened concerts for many famous artistes such as Sugar Minot, Third World and Burning Spear on several tours.  In 2018 they released their 4th original studio album titled “Bounce to the Rhythm”. They have released numerous hit songs such as “I like It”, “Gimme The Weed” and “Move Along” that always get the fans going into a dancing frenzy whenever and wherever they play.
